About us

Mercy College is a Catholic, co-educational K–12 school in Koondoola, welcoming students from Kindergarten to Year 12.

Founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1972, our College has grown into a vibrant and diverse learning community where students are supported to learn, grow and belong. Guided by our motto, Love in Action, we are committed to creating a school environment where every child is known, valued and encouraged to become their best.

At Mercy College, education is about more than academic achievement. We believe in nurturing the whole person, spiritually, socially, emotionally and intellectually. Through strong relationships, caring pastoral support and engaging learning opportunities, students are encouraged to discover their strengths, build confidence and develop the skills they need for the future.

Our Vision for Learning, Inspiring Futures Together, shapes the way we teach, learn and grow as a community. From the early years through to senior secondary, students are supported to be curious, capable and compassionate learners. We provide opportunities for students to think deeply, work collaboratively, explore their interests and take meaningful steps towards their future pathways.

As a K–12 College, Mercy offers families the benefit of one connected learning journey. Children can begin their education in a nurturing early years environment and continue through primary and secondary schooling within the same supportive community. This continuity helps students build a strong sense of belonging, while allowing staff to know and support them as they grow.

Our Mercy tradition continues to guide who we are today.

Inspired by the Venerable Catherine McAuley and the Sisters of Mercy, we seek to live our values through kindness, compassion, service, justice, dignity and excellence. These values are not simply words; they are reflected in the way we care for one another, welcome families, support students and contribute to the wider community.

At Mercy College, students are raised in an environment of care, faith and opportunity and supported to become confident young people who are ready for the world.
