Mercy College Soccer Academy
Inspiring Futures Together Through Soccer

The Mercy College Soccer Academy, established in 2012, has grown into one of the most dynamic school-based football programs, proudly supporting over 400 passionate players from Years 1 to 12. Rooted in the values of Catholic education and driven by a commitment to excellence, the Academy offers structured, high-quality coaching led by an experienced and accredited team. Separate classes for boys and girls ensure tailored development, with the program closely aligned to Football Australia’s National Curriculum.

Senior students in Years 11 and 12 have the opportunity to pursue vocational pathways through TAFE, undertaking Certificate II qualifications in Sport and Recreation and Sport Coaching—blending academic learning with real-world sporting experience. All coaching staff hold Football Federation Australia accreditation and qualifications in sports science, ensuring a holistic approach to player development.

Mercy College students regularly compete in prestigious competitions including Champion Schools, ACC Senior Championships, NWAS, and the Super Series, gaining exposure to high-level play and fostering school pride. The Academy is supported by outstanding facilities, including two full-sized soccer pitches with box goals, two AstroTurf pitches, and a fully equipped strength and conditioning centre.

Strong partnerships with Football West, Perth Glory, Bayswater City, Westnam SC, and other local clubs provide students with pathways beyond school, connecting them to the broader football community. The Mercy College Soccer Academy is more than a program—it’s a vibrant, inclusive environment where talent is nurtured, character is built, and futures are inspired through the beautiful game.

Refer to the Mercy College Soccer Academy (MCSA) Terms of Reference for further information on how the programs runs and how to become a part of the academy.
